Client: Fairmont Royal Pavilion | 2019 | Adobe Illustrator
I was commissioned to create a new visitor map for this four-star hotel resort on the west coast of Barbados. Looking north-east across the resort from the direction of the sea, the brief required that the reception area, apartment blocks, villa residence, restaurants and amenities were all clearly shown in a crisp, colourful axonometric style similar to my designs for Butlins and Buckfast Abbey. The design was based on photographs provided by the client, taken from ground level and from the air by drones.
