Just today completed a new addition to my series of London Borough maps: this is Islington, where our studio is based.
This borough, one of the smallest in London and with the proportionally smallest square mileage of open green space, stretches south from the fringes of leafy Highgate and Crouch End, across Holloway, Highbury, Angel and Clerkenwell to the edge of the City.

A new reference title for kids, published by Dorling Kindersley, is now in the shops: ‘The Spy Book’*, produced in association with the International Spy Museum in Washington DC, features two illustration contributions from me.
This is my first major book commission which is rather exciting!
(* = known as ‘Top Secret’ in the US)
Next Saturday the 24th sees the Brockley Market take place at Lewisham College, London SE4, for the first time! This is the publicity artwork I have designed for Toby Allen, the market’s organiser.

Many thanks to everyone who paid a visit to my stalls on Saturday and Sunday at the Crafty Fox Market during the Thames Festival! I had some lovely conversations with - dare I call you - new fans? :) who enjoyed my map art and urban landscapes and the support of my friends who braved the gales and intermittent showers to come say hi was invaluable and much appreciated.
